Capital Area Community Services

CACS works towards eliminating the causes and conditions of poverty in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, and Shiawassee Counties by providing programs in childhood education, nutrition, weatherization, housing, and financial counseling. The ultimate goal is to provide the services and support for individuals to achieve their own definition of success and quality of life.

Ingham County Animal Shelter

Working to improve the lives of animals through adoption, law enforcement and

community outreach.

Angel House

Angel House provides residential treatment and guidance for pregnant and parenting girls ages 13-18 who are under the supervision of the Michigan Department of Human Services.

Greater Lansing Food Bank

Partners to alleviate hunger one meal at a time, to create a future where everyone has access to nourishing food.
